The MAILEX^® 10 letter-bomb detector is used to inspect post items such as letters, flat packages or parcels that are suspected of containing explosives. The MAILEX^® 10 comprises a 'slide'-like inspection ramp and easy-to-operate electronics.

The detector can identify all metals, even the tiny metal components incendiary or explosive devices contain. Metal detection occurs via both acoustic and optical signals. The acoustic signal can be deactivated.

The detector has two operating modes. It can run either on an on-going basis or via an adjustable trigger threshold with automatic delete function. The MAILEX^® 's 10 detection sensitivity is extremely high and can be smooth-set to meet the specific requirements
